About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Movati Athletic (Group) Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall maintenance of our clubs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance, preventive maintenance, and annual building inspections to ensure all building assets are promptly and safely maintained.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot building operating/fitness system outages, preparing return to service action plans as needed.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, obtaining quotes and verifying work completed prior to departure.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety practices and procedures to ensure the safety of all.

Requirements

  • Community College Certificate as a Class II Building Environmental Systems Operator, licensed trades certificate or equivalent an asset.
  • Three (3) years of continuous experience in operation and maintenance of building systems.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, and BAS.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and prior knowledge of pool operations preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
