About the Role

We are seeking a bilingual Senior Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our HR team, you will provide coaching and professional human resources advice to our business partners, ensuring alignment with market best practices, laws, regulations, and corporate values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert HR guidance to business partners, leveraging market best practices and corporate values.
  2. Contribute to the development of HR strategies, analyses, and challenges, driving business impact and growth.
  3. Participate in national or regional projects, deploying corporate initiatives and programs, and collaborating with leaders in succession planning and talent development.
  4. Conduct investigations, assist managers in conflict management, and respond to complex HR-related questions.
  5. Lead training workshops, information sessions, and round tables for managers and employees, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
  6. Collaborate with leaders to identify and develop talent, contribute to HR process improvement, and make salary recommendations based on best compensation practices.
  7. Conduct needs analysis, assist managers in defining and classifying positions, and support workforce planning.
Requirements
  1. Bilingualism in French and English is required, with the ability to interact regularly with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  2. University degree in Human Resources Management, with at least five years of experience as a generalist in human resources in a non-unionized environment.
  3. Strong communication skills, ability to influence, and relational ease with all hierarchical levels.
  4. Solid organizational development skills in a transformation context, with a strong planning and project management background.
  5. Pragmatism and strategic thinking to solve operational and complex problems, with knowledge in all areas of human resources.
  6. CHRP and/or CHRL designation in progress, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
  7. Occasional travel nationally will be required.
