Reporting Structure:
Directly reports to the Director of New Product Development.
Product Documentation and Management:
Collaborate with Product Managers to establish a comprehensive product roadmap and long-term strategy, leveraging your expertise to enhance sales and strengthen our brand presence. Engage with our partners to source and develop innovative products, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to initiate and monitor project progress.
Project Tracking:
Utilize a structured stage-gating process to oversee projects from inception to completion. Work closely with Project Management to ensure timely execution of various projects, providing regular updates on progress and challenges encountered.
Marketing Insight:
Possess a thorough understanding of sales and marketing dynamics to create strategic roadmaps aimed at increasing market share and brand loyalty. Conduct market research and utilize feedback mechanisms to identify product and feature enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in business case analysis, commercial strategy, and financial assessments.
- Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Solidworks, and other 3D modeling tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in product validation and testing protocols.
- Collaborate with the Director of Research and Development to establish product specifications and design concepts for outdoor cooking and heating solutions.
- Identify and engage suppliers for manufacturing, packaging, and technological advancements.
- Work alongside Brand and Merchandising Managers to uphold product integrity and provide necessary guidance.
- Develop and maintain project workflows and processes to ensure effective tracking and initiation of projects.
- Willingness to travel for vendor meetings and testing facilities as required.
- A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with consumers.
