- Direct the formulation and assessment of resident care plans and nursing protocols, integrating best practices into care delivery.
- Conduct research related to nursing administration and resident care, implementing necessary operational improvements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance resident care and service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and standards governing nursing services.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports as required.

- Provide on-call support for nursing services, addressing urgent care needs and staffing issues.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in nursing management within long-term care or rehabilitation settings.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Ontario College of Nurses.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant management certification.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a diverse workforce in a dynamic environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare policies and their implications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated financial management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to enhancing resident safety and quality of care.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting long-term care services.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
- Master's degree is preferred.
