Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee significant construction and renovation initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Lead all phases of project management, from inception through to completion, coordinating with project teams effectively.
  • Administer the concept, design, tendering, construction, and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy, monitoring potential risks and crafting appropriate mitigation responses.
  • Assist in scheduling building inspections to comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain preliminary and final project budgets, ensuring budgetary controls are in place throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with project teams on contract modifications, ensuring all changes receive client approval.
  • Analyze project deferrals, cost overruns, and potential delays, providing recommendations to address client needs effectively.
  • Ensure project site safety and foster collaboration with all third-party and internal resources.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents, enforcing compliance as necessary.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of drawing packages, specifications, and project details to identify potential issues and ensure constructability.
  • Manage formal changes to contract documents, ensuring agreement among all stakeholders.
  • Perform weekly site visits to assess progress, identify challenges, and collaborate with project teams.
  • Schedule bi-weekly update meetings, providing comprehensive reports to the VP of Construction Operations.
  • Review monthly progress billing to ensure accuracy and compliance with project budgets.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, such as MS Project.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams.
  • Basic understanding of Procore construction software is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Compensation: Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and performance. Monthly reimbursement for vehicle mileage will be provided in accordance with applicable regulations. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday.
