Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 8463859 Canada Inc. as a Technical Support Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide solutions to technical issues related to computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
- Problem-Solving: Research and implement solutions to complex technical problems, utilizing technical manuals, user guides, and other resources as needed.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of computer systems and software.
- Log Management: Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
- Project Participation: Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement new applications and software.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior technical support analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality technical support services.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to users, responding to their technical inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical support role, with a strong background in computer systems, software, and network infrastructure.
- Skills: Proficiency in ITIL, JavaOS, security software, project management software, website creation and management software, web service design, database software, software development, C++, and Oracle.
- Specialization: Experience in e-commerce, security, and safety is an asset.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for work-related purposes.
- Language: Fluency in English is required.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
