Position Overview:

Our esteemed banking client is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to oversee third-party risk within a regulatory framework.

Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with in-office presence required on select days.

Operational Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Department: Procurement.

Role Purpose:

This team is responsible for managing all aspects of third-party risk for the organization. Each external partner undergoes a comprehensive risk evaluation, ensuring that the bank identifies and mitigates potential risks effectively. We are looking for a proactive individual to support various administrative functions within this collaborative environment. The selected candidate will receive training and will collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments that interact with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the Supplier Engagement & Management System (SEMS) program.
  2. Promptly escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
  3. Initiate action plans within SEMS.
  4. Develop, maintain, and update all program management documentation.
  5. Manage a Change Management repository to enhance compliance awareness and document all related changes.
  6. Oversee the storage of change-related documentation in the approved records.
  7. Possess advanced knowledge of change management principles, training, and communication strategies.
  8. Provide reports on issues as requested by management.
  9. Understand the Third-Party Risk Management Directive and relevant policy requirements.
  10. Conduct periodic reviews of third-party risk management documentation.
  11. Offer insights and recommendations for improving the organization's tools.
  12. Identify emerging issues and trends to support informed decision-making.
  13. Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  14. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  1. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  2. Strong collaborator with experience in cross-functional teamwork.
  3. Two to three years of relevant professional experience.
  4. Strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
  5. Ability to independently identify tasks and take initiative.
  6. Knowledge of program management principles.

  8. Data-driven decision-making proficiency.

Preferred Skills:
