Position Overview:
Our esteemed banking client is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to oversee third-party risk within a regulatory framework.
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with in-office presence required on select days.
Operational Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
Department: Procurement.
Role Purpose:
This team is responsible for managing all aspects of third-party risk for the organization. Each external partner undergoes a comprehensive risk evaluation, ensuring that the bank identifies and mitigates potential risks effectively. We are looking for a proactive individual to support various administrative functions within this collaborative environment. The selected candidate will receive training and will collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments that interact with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Supplier Engagement & Management System (SEMS) program.
- Promptly escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Initiate action plans within SEMS.
- Develop, maintain, and update all program management documentation.
- Manage a Change Management repository to enhance compliance awareness and document all related changes.
- Oversee the storage of change-related documentation in the approved records.
- Possess advanced knowledge of change management principles, training, and communication strategies.
- Provide reports on issues as requested by management.
- Understand the Third-Party Risk Management Directive and relevant policy requirements.
- Conduct periodic reviews of third-party risk management documentation.
- Offer insights and recommendations for improving the organization's tools.
- Identify emerging issues and trends to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong collaborator with experience in cross-functional teamwork.
- Two to three years of relevant professional experience.
- Strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to independently identify tasks and take initiative.
- Knowledge of program management principles.
