The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Third-Party Risk Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you'll play a critical role in mitigating third-party risk throughout the third-party lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Third-Party Due Diligence
    • Assist with the third-party due diligence process, ensuring that processes are followed and vendor questionnaires and assessments are completed.
    • Assess existing and potential vendors, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Vendor Management
    • Manage vendor issues, identifying and tracking non-conformance reporting and Change Order requests.
    • Assist with invoice discrepancies and ensure correct billing.
  • Sourcing and Procurement
    • Create sourcing documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFI responses, in collaboration with internal partners and external partners.
    • Support the development and implementation of SLAs, KPIs, and other contractual commitments to mitigate risk and maximize service availability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist in the administration of our GRC system, Resolver, including managing subscriptions and service renewals, verifying and updating user profiles, and entering vendor information and uploading relevant documents.
    • Report on third-party key performance indicators on a quarterly and annual basis.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in third-party risk management, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in a financial environment.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to focus on the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
