Crown Prosecutor

As a Crown Prosecutor, you will play a critical role in upholding justice and ensuring the integrity of the legal system. This position requires a strong understanding of criminal law and the ability to analyze complex cases.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out prosecutions in the Provincial Court and Court of King's Bench for Saskatchewan
- Conduct docket court work, trial work, and summary conviction appeals
- Provide legal opinions and advice to police and other stakeholders
- Participate in legal education and training in areas such as criminal law and ethics
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Saskatchewan
- Ability to pass a criminal record check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and case management skills
- Experience with computer software applications, including legal research tools and MS Office
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
- At least three weeks' annual vacation and twelve scheduled days off
- Statutory holidays and a full benefit package after six months of service
