Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and process group arrivals and departures.
  • Room Reservations and Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, and offer general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Payment and Billing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work and willing to relocate for this position.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar field of employment is an asset.
  • Certifications: Possess the required certifications for the position.
