We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop and Scala developer to join our team at Lorven Technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing large-scale data processing systems using Hadoop and Spark.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data processing pipelines using Hadoop and Spark
  • Develop and optimize Java and Scala applications for big data processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
  • Work with cloud providers such as AWS and Azure to migrate and deploy big data applications
  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala development
  • 10+ years of experience in Java and Spring Framework development
  • Experience in developing and optimizing big data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP
  • Experience in developing micro-service architecture
  • Extensive experience in cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
  • Proven hands-on experience in containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.
  • Experience in developing applications in Spring & Spring Boot
  • Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in building data pipelines on AWS/Azure and/or Databricks
  • Knowledge in Market Risk/Capital Markets/Banking
