Position Overview

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler within our cutting-edge production facility. This role is essential in our extrusion plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize mobile material handling equipment for the effective packaging of finished products.
  • Identify and report any operational issues to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Measure and document the physical and dimensional properties of products at designated intervals.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all material and scrap storage areas.
  • Assist in the setup and movement of equipment within production zones.
  • Support the startup of production lines and ensure products meet specified standards.
  • Construct and pack crates for pipe products.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with plastic extrusion processes is highly beneficial.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Willingness to work a rotating schedule of day and night shifts is required.
