Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Material Handler to join our team at a leading global provider of paper-based packaging solutions. As a key member of our Warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect forklift daily to ensure all safety features are operational
  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently, moving materials throughout the facility
  • Receive, store, and ship products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Load and unload trucks, warehouse products and materials
  • Use RF scanner for receipts, issues to lines, returns, and bar code locations
  • Verify all counts, quantities, and descriptions of products and materials received, shipped, or warehoused
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Material Handler in a manufacturing or production industry
  • Valid Forklift Certificate required
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office considered an asset
  • Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, work independently, and with a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
