Patient Transport and Support Specialist

Your Role:
As a Patient Transport and Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of patient care within our hospital setting. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks essential to maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting patients (clients/residents) and medical equipment between various patient care areas within the hospital.
- Distributing and replenishing essential hospital supplies throughout different units.
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment by cleaning equipment and patient care areas as directed.
- Transporting lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts with utmost care and attention to detail.
- Proactively reporting any concerns regarding supplies or potential safety hazards to Unit Managers.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to contribute to the overall efficiency of the healthcare team.
Your Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
