Job Title: File Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team at Jack R. Bowerman, CPA - Professional Corporation. As a File Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date filing systems, processing documents, and providing administrative support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital
  • Process and verify documents, including receipts, applications, and correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing data entry tasks
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information as required
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits
  • Provide general information to clients and the public
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • File material in storage area
  • Label, file, and retrieve documents
  • Locate and remove files requested
  • Organize and schedule office work
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
