Job Title: Personnel Recruitment Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personnel Recruitment Officer to join our team at Vertical Staffing Resources Inc. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting job notices, and coordinating the selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing Requirements: Identify current and prospective staffing needs and develop strategies to meet them.
  • Job Posting: Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Candidate Screening: Collect and screen applicants, advising them on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Selection Process: Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Communication: Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers.
  • Staffing Policies: Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Office.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position in a fast-paced environment. You will be working with a team to achieve our staffing goals and objectives.
