Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Radisson Hotel Fort St. John. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and welcoming environment.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
  • Linens and Amenities
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests as needed.
    • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens and amenities.
  • Lost and Found and Guest Services
    • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure that guests' personal belongings are returned.
    • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner.
    • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and services to guests.
  • Housekeeping Operations
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
    • Will train on the job to ensure that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform your duties effectively.
    • Ability to work a 40-hour week and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
