Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Radisson Hotel Fort St. John. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and stock linen closets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on hotel facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Training and Development: Will train on hotel policies and procedures, and participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
