Crop Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vegetable Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team at Barrich Farms (2020) Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security: Oversee and enforce strict adherence to farm safety and bio-security protocols to prevent accidents and diseases.
- Supervise Crop Operations: Direct and coordinate the growth and harvesting of crops, including potatoes, to ensure optimal yields and quality.
- Perform General Farm Duties: Participate in various farm tasks, such as equipment maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep.
- Disease Detection and Prevention: Monitor crops, livestock, and poultry for signs of disease or health issues and implement measures to prevent their spread.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to other farm workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Schedule and Coordinate Activities: Plan and organize daily, weekly, and seasonal tasks to ensure efficient use of resources and personnel.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming in a rural area with staff accommodation available.
- Work Setting: Permanent position with a 40-60 hour workweek.
- Language: English.
