Actuarial Pricing Technical Specialist at Definity

Definity is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Pricing Technical Specialist to support pricing actions for our insurance portfolios. In this role, you will leverage your actuarial expertise to drive pricing decisions and provide technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced actuarial analysis to enhance rate adequacy
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify performance drivers and optimize pricing strategies
  • Apply analytical skills to drive data-driven decision making and process improvements
  • Provide technical review and guidance to team members to ensure high-quality pricing recommendations
  • Manage timelines and deliverables efficiently to meet business objectives
  • Communicate pricing recommendations effectively to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive business results
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field
  • CAS exams or equivalent credentials
  • Minimum 4 years of actuarial pricing experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive business outcomes
  • Knowledge of insurance products and pricing strategies
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Salary Range: $77,700 - $157,000
