Senior Actuarial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Technical Specialist to join our team at Definity. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the area of personal insurance pricing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement actuarial models to analyze rate adequacy and inform pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pricing strategies that meet business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and support to product development teams to ensure actuarial accuracy and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for process efficiencies and innovation.
- Communicate complex actuarial concepts to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and external clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant full-time experience in actuarial roles, with a preference for individuals with experience across a range of actuarial disciplines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages, including Excel, VBA, SQL, and other relevant tools.
- A competitive salary range of $87,600 - $181,000, depending on location and experience.
