We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at Brio Bakery Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads.
Key Responsibilities- Supply Chain Management: Estimate and manage the costs of supplies and food items to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to inform business decisions.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Menu Development: Create new and innovative recipes to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
- Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, and create icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Certifications: Cook Trade Certification is highly desirable.
- Physical Demands: The ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
