Nurse Practitioner

About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, following established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train and develop new staff members, referring concerns to the Director of Care.
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- A passion for caring for seniors and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to work with diverse residents and staff.
