Job Title: Collections Agent III

TalentWorld is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collections Agent III to join our client's team in Saint John, NB. As a Collections Agent III, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound calls from the Sales and Service Team regarding billing and payment inquiries, providing clear and concise information, and managing delinquency and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle inbound calls from the Sales and Service Team regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Provide clear and concise information both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage delinquency and collections processes by creating and validating delinquency letters, preparing registered letters, and making outbound calls to customers to reschedule payments.
  • Retrieve, complete, and track daily work activities distributed via email or shared folders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues by evaluating payment history and interacting with clients to address their concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payment transactions, refunds, and collections.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a customer service or financial institute.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and software.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in verifying amounts and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Fluent in French (reading, writing, and verbal communication) is an asset.
  • Adaptable and open to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: $22.00 an hour.
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, 2 days On-site (Monday and Wednesday), 3 days remote.
  • Duration: 1 year contract.
  • Working Hours: Must work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, can choose between either Thursday or Friday, and must work on Saturdays.
  • SHIFTS: could vary between: 11am - 11pm EST.
  • Location: Saint John, NB.
