We are seeking talented individuals to join our Finance Leadership Development Program, a comprehensive program designed to equip you with the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the field of finance. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, develop your analytical and problem-solving skills, and gain valuable experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
What You'll Do
- Develop and evaluate financial reporting processes to support the financial reporting infrastructure
- Perform procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information
- Evaluate the impact of alternative and/or new accounting standards/policies
- Prepare and/or review financial statements and accompanying notes
- Review, propose, or account for the entity's transactions, including complex transactions
- Evaluate internal controls (IT and others)
- Design a work-plan and assurance procedures
- Prepare, evaluate, or manage information within an entity for decision making
- Prepare or review budget information
- Identify, develop, or evaluate business processes to support management information needs, decisions, and control frameworks
What You'll Need to Succeed
- University Degree in Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration completed within the past two years
- Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Successful completion of CPA PEP Program Core and Elective modules or university equivalent, candidates ready to begin Capstone modules only
- Applicants must attach a copy of their transcript
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Working towards or committed to working towards a CPA designation
- Bilingual language skills preferred, ideally French
