Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Tavoukdjian. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Repetitive tasks and physical demands
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in the client's home, providing one-on-one care and support. This role requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability, as you will need to work with clients of varying ages and abilities.
