Position Overview

The assistant store manager collaborates closely with the store manager to foster a cooperative atmosphere that encourages inclusivity and positive interactions. To drive the store's success, you will guide and motivate the team to meet sales and profitability targets. Additionally, you will be involved in recruitment, performance oversight, training, and development. Your adaptability to various situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and diverse work schedules is crucial for your success.
Daily Responsibilities
- Ensure the store aligns with company goals and adheres to key performance metrics.
- Lead the store by appropriately distributing tasks (including company policies, loss prevention, payroll, report generation, and scheduling).
- Assist in the recruitment, management, development, and training of enthusiastic candidates for sales, customer service, and fashion roles.
- Execute marketing initiatives while maintaining a clean, consistent, and inviting atmosphere that encourages shopping.
- Establish effective communication with the store manager and district manager.
Qualifications
Desired Profile
- One to two years of experience in a leadership role or as a supervisor in a customer-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and achieve success through exceptional sales performance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is a plus.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
