We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our team at Montrose Environmental Group. As a key member of our Hydrogeology team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the field of hydrogeology.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior hydrogeologists, engineers, and project managers to develop and implement hydrogeological investigations and monitoring programs.
- Design and execute field programs, including drilling, logging, and sampling, to collect and analyze data for hydrogeological projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing technical support and guidance on hydrogeological issues.
- Participate in the development of conceptual and numerical geological and hydrogeological models for municipal water supplies, source water protection, mining, and water resource studies.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships through project-based client interaction and supporting business development efforts of senior staff.
- Graduate or undergraduate degree in hydrogeology, engineering geology, or geology with or licensing in Ontario.
- 5 to 10 years' documented consulting and/or industry work experience in hydrogeology.
- Solid understanding of physical and contaminant hydrogeology.
- Experience with standard hydrogeological software, including Leapfrog Works, AQTESOLV, and Groundwater Vistas.
- Ability to design and execute field programs with knowledge of various drilling techniques and instrumentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients, regulators, and colleagues.
