Position Overview

The User Support Technician at Nova Atlantic plays a crucial role in assisting users with their technological challenges. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure a seamless user experience.

Qualifications
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist users facing issues with their computer systems
  • Utilize user manuals, technical documentation, and other resources to troubleshoot and implement effective solutions
  • Offer guidance and training to users based on identified challenges
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for reference by fellow technical support staff
  • Engage in the redesign of software applications to enhance user experience
  • Oversee a small team of technical support personnel
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users as needed
  • Set up and configure equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software
