About the Role
The Digital Marketing Strategy Manager will work closely with the marketing and sales leadership teams at Sun Life to deliver marketing and communications initiatives that meet our growth-focused objectives and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end digital marketing strategies to establish and grow Sun Life's online presence.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, paid search, and email marketing.
- Establish and implement marketing analytics standards and measurement plans to ensure successful delivery of marketing goals.
- Assess and implement growth optimization strategies for multiple channels, including digital display, paid search, paid social, online affiliate, and email marketing.
- Build and execute A/B testing strategies to inform campaign strategies and improve marketing performance.
- Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to launch new programs effectively.
- Partner with teams to test new channels and technology to drive innovation and client acquisition.
- Manage marketing budget and forecasts to ensure spending is aligned with business growth objectives.
Requirements
- Management experience of teams or individuals.
- Digital marketing experience, with a proven track record of delivering direct-to-digital marketing programs.
- Campaign execution experience, with a focus on performance-based digital marketing campaigns.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to draw insights from data to inform future campaign design.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver against required timelines and budget.
- Relationship management skills, with the ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and closely with other team members across the organization.
- Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations.
- Agile marketing and development experience.
- Experience with marketing campaign/project management.
- Experience with web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics.
- Experience with CRM tools and marketing technologies.
- Understanding of direct response marketing and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience with tag management tools, such as Google Tag Manager or Tealium.
- Solid knowledge of digital media strategies and bid management tools.
