Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Marché Duchemin et frères inc. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our supermarket/grocery store.
Job Summary:The Assistant Manager will be responsible for evaluating daily operations, planning and organizing daily tasks, managing staff and assigning duties, locating and selecting merchandise for resale, determining staffing requirements, and resolving issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Plan and organize daily tasks to meet business objectives
- Manage staff and assign duties to ensure optimal performance
- Locate and select merchandise for resale to meet customer demands
- Determine staffing requirements to meet business needs
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
The Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced supermarket/grocery store environment, interacting with customers, staff, and vendors on a daily basis.
Requirements:- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supermarket environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
