Organization Overview

Volunteer Manitoba is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting volunteerism and community engagement. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Board Member - Grants Committee Director.

Job Summary

The Grants Committee Director will be responsible for researching and identifying potential funding sources, applying for grants, and managing relationships with funders. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and strategic thinker to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential funding sources, including government agencies, foundations, and corporate sponsors
  • Develop and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with our organization's mission and goals
  • Manage relationships with funders, including communication, reporting, and stewardship
  • Collaborate with the Program Evaluation Director to ensure effective grant management and evaluation
  • Provide regular reports to the Board on committee actions and goals
