We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Board of Director Member at Volunteer Manitoba. As a member of our board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization and making a meaningful impact in the lives of children.

About the Role

The Grants Director will be responsible for researching and identifying potential funding sources, applying for grants, and managing expectations and reporting required through funders. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential funding sources to support our programs and projects
  • Apply for grants and manage expectations and reporting required through funders
  • Maintain and manage relationships with stakeholders, including MCIC as a member
Requirements
  • Expertise in development of evaluation plans, logic models, and monitoring plans
  • Understanding of locally culturally relevant measures of success and ability to collect data at the project level
  • Ability to coach and work with project partners in a supportive, nonprescriptive manner
