Volunteer Board Member Opportunity

Volunteer Manitoba is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Board Member. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our organization and contributing to the betterment of our community.

Job Summary

The Board Member will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to the organization, ensuring that our mission and values are upheld. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community and are looking to gain valuable experience in leadership and governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organization
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our strategic plan
  • Participate in monthly board meetings and committee work
  • Represent the organization at community events and meetings
  • Support the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives
  • Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of our programs and services
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or governance role
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for making a difference in the community
