Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our Private Enterprise Tax practice. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax-related projects, including planning and compliance, and participate in special projects and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on various tax issues, including domestic and international investments.
  • Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
  • Develop and prepare technical memos, instruction letters, and client reporting letters.
  • Design and implement income tax models.
  • Review corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Assist senior staff members in corporate tax initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Successful completion of the CFE and CPA designation.
  • Enrollment in the In-Depth tax course or willingness to enroll.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Keen to assist in tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and research tax issues.
