Position Overview:

  • Team Collaboration: Assist Managing Directors and colleagues in executing transactions and preparing business development presentations. Engage with various internal CIBC departments such as Commercial Banking, Private Wealth, and Capital Markets.
  • Document Preparation: Develop presentations, proposals, and marketing collateral. Perform financial analyses and investigate market trends.
  • Valuation Analysis: Assess business valuations employing diverse methodologies. Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data while conducting thorough industry research.
  • Professional Networking: Establish connections with financial institutions, private equity firms, and industry experts. Remain informed about industry advancements.
  • Qualifications: A business-related undergraduate degree along with a professional designation. A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, or similar fields.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in financial modeling, effective presentation delivery, and utilizing industry-standard tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
