We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Professor of Virology at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). This tenure-track faculty position is an excellent opportunity for a researcher to establish an independent and innovative research program in the field of virology.
Main Responsibilities- Establish a research program that complements the existing activities at INRS;
- Develop and maintain collaborations with internal and external partners;
- Secure funding from external sources to support research activities;
- Participate in teaching, supervision, and training activities.
- Doctoral degree in a related biomedical or biotechnological field and relevant postdoctoral experience;
- Technical and academic expertise that complements the research activities at INRS;
- Strong potential to secure financial support from funding agencies;
- High competence for teaching and mentoring graduate students.
INRS is a research-intensive institution with a strong focus on graduate training. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a biosafety level 3 laboratory, and will be part of a dynamic and collaborative research environment.
