Job Opportunity: Virology Research Professor

Join the Centre Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie (AFSB) at the Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS) as a Virology Research Professor. We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with expertise in virology, particularly in the study of viral replication mechanisms and/or virus-host interactions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish an independent and innovative research program in virology.
  • Secure extramural research funding to support your research program.
  • Participate in teaching, supervision, and training activities in the Centre AFSB graduate programs.
Requirements:
  • Doctoral degree in a related biomedical or biotechnological field and relevant postdoctoral experience.
  • Technical and academic expertise that complements the research activities at Centre AFSB.
  • High competence for teaching and mentoring graduate students.
Working Language:

French is the working language of the Centre. Fluency in English is required. Candidates who are not fluent in French are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be invited to improve their French knowledge during the first contract period.
