Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
2. Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
3. Collaborate with dietitians or chefs to prepare special meals for patients.
4. Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health standards.
5. Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety practices.
6. Manage inventory and order supplies and equipment as needed.
7. Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their development.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.
9. Organize and manage buffets and banquets.
Qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a culinary role.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced setting requiring attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and effective time management.
