Education and Qualifications: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
Work Experience: We are seeking an individual with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of Acropolis Pizza.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize kitchen performance.
- Clean the kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as accuracy and quality are paramount.
- Working in a fast-paced environment requires the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Standing for extended periods is a requirement of this position, as is the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment.
