Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Foreman/Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our carpentry crew, ensuring projects are completed on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities, set up equipment, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Team Supervision: Supervise carpenters, apprentices, trades helpers, and labourers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Communication: Read blueprints and drawings, requisition materials and supplies, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Establish methods to meet work schedules, and make decisions to resolve issues that may arise during projects.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical Demands: Work outdoors, in a noisy environment, and be able to lift heavy objects.
