About the Role

Venture Carpets is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in the fabric production department. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines to bleach, dye, coat, or finish fabric, thread, yarn, or other textile products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machines Safely and Efficiently: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machines, including monitoring equipment malfunctions and notifying supervisors or mechanics as needed.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure machines are in good working condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machines and perform tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure quality products and identify any defects.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English or French is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
