About the Role

Venture Carpets is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in fabric production. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machines to bleach, dye, coat, or finish fabric, thread, yarn, or other textile products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Machines Safely and Efficiently: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machines, adhering to quality standards and company policies.
  • Quality Control: Examine products for defects and notify the supervisor or mechanic of any equipment malfunctions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production targets and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Protocols: Follow all health and safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Requirements
  • Manual Dexterity: Possess manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate machines and perform tasks.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure quality products and adherence to company standards.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French is required.
