The Clinical Nurse Specialist operates in alignment with the Vision, Values, Ethics, and Standards of the organization and adheres to the guidelines set forth by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

This position emphasizes a patient and family-centered care approach and collaborates with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to execute general nursing practices within the RN scope of practice.

This role involves providing direct nursing services to hospitalized patients, addressing the needs of both the facility and the diverse patient/family population we serve.

The RN's practice is informed by contemporary evidence derived from nursing science and the humanities.

Work Schedule: Rotating Shifts; Day and Night; 07:00 to 19:15, 19:00 to 07:15

New Compensation :

As of April 1, 2024, the new compensation rate is: $55.91/hour

Northern Health Authority is the principal acute care institution in the region, featuring 268 beds and serving as the center for specialized health services. It is a comprehensive hospital and hosts a new cancer treatment center, offering a wide array of cancer care options. Required Qualifications

  • Current registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN.
