About the Role

Visier, Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Legal department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expansion through strategic partnerships and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and execute complex contracts with key customers and partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies, including risk management and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide expert counsel on corporate business matters, including employment relations and global expansion efforts.
  • Support research and product expansion initiatives, driving innovation and growth.
  • Operate with autonomy as a trusted advisor, making strategic decisions to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Active member of the Law Society of British Columbia, with 4-7 years post-call experience.
  • Experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer, with exposure to SaaS technology, cross-border transactions, technology M&A, or international privacy and compliance.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to build relationships with internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
