Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Team at The Mustard Seed Society, responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization. The CFO will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that support the organization's strategic objectives
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to the Executive Team and other stakeholders
  • Oversee the financial management of the organization, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Manage the financial planning and analysis function, including financial modeling and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, donors, and partners
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or CMA)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in a non-profit or charitable organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
