Job Summary
Scotiabank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Banking Analyst Intern to join our team. As a Business Banking Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deepen client relationships by understanding clients' businesses and providing actionable recommendations to support credit decisions
- Conduct company and industry analysis to identify business opportunities and challenges
- Develop and maintain relationships with Commercial business customers to provide tailored advice and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue business opportunities
- Provide administrative support and service for client-facing interactions
Requirements
- Enrolled in an MBA or undergrad degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- Strong knowledge and understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook effectively
