Job Summary
We are seeking a Seasonal Customer Experience Ambassador to join our team at Indigo Books & Music. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating a warm and welcoming environment, and promoting our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a positive and engaging customer experience through exceptional service and product knowledge
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively promote and sell them to customers
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide a seamless customer experience
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and inviting store environment
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer traffic
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
