About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at Island Home Furniture. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a team of sales staff and ensuring that they are providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Sales Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the inventory and merchandise management process to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Store Operations: Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
