**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Leasing Administrator to join our team at Lorneville Apartments. As a Leasing Administrator, you will be responsible for showing and leasing apartment suites to prospective residents, qualifying prospects, and providing exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**
* Leasing:
• Encourage appointments or viewings with prospective residents
• Qualify prospects to determine their needs and suitability
• Tour suites for lease
• Answer phone calls and provide leasing information
• Shop competition through phone calls and site market surveys
• Assist with composing newspaper advertisements
• Compile and update listings of available rental units
* Renting & Administration:
• Prepare and process rental applications
• Contact credit bureaus, previous landlords, and check employment history
• Follow up with new residents to ensure satisfaction
• Follow up with existing residents to ensure work orders are completed correctly
• Utilize a computerized property management system to record transactions
* Marketing & Business Development:
• Maintain a focus on enhancing the customer experience
• Hold open houses
• Create and prepare newsletters, flyers, and written summaries of available suites
• Communicate with prospective residents
• Help coordinate resident events
• Assist the Regional Coordinator of Marketing & Development
**Requirements**
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Experience in sales
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Maintain a professional appearance
* Strong command of MS Office products
* Self-starter with high initiative, creativity, and flexibility
* Experience with leasing apartments or selling condominiums an asset
